Robert "Bob" K. Droke, age 67, a lifelong resident of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024, in the same town where he was born on September 11, 1956. He was known as a hard-working man with a friendly spirit.
Bob was the beloved son of the late Charles L. Droke and Sylvia Lawanda Droke. He is survived by his daughter, Carmen Brooks, his siblings, Helen D. Rowland (Richard), Steve L. Droke (Linda), and Jeff C. Droke (Rebecca), his granddaughter Marley Belle and several nieces & nephews.
Bob received his degree from Tri-Cities Tech. He dedicated many fruitful years of service to McLain Heating & Cooling before his retirement, where his hard work and dedication left a lasting impact.
He was of Methodist faith.
Bob found joy in life's simpler pleasures: riding his motorcycle on sunny afternoons and spending quality time with his adored dog, Abbey. He was also a fan of UT sports.
A committal service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Ken Strickland officiating. For more information about the committal service, the family asks that you reach out to Helen, Steve, or Jeff.
