Brian Keith Blevins, 46, of Kingsport, TN. Passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born on December 12, 1966 in Bristol, TN lived in Knoxville and Pensacola, FL before returning to the Tri Cities area in December 2010.

He retired from Universal American as a Senior Compliance Analyst on December 2010.

He is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Cheryl and Roy Anderson of Kingsport, and his Father and Stepmother, Randall and Linda Blevins of Bluff City, Grandmother, Carrie Blevins of Johnson City, two sisters and their spouses, April Robinson and her husband Terry, Melissa Overbey and her husband Mike, stepsister Heather Bledsoe and her husband Chris, stepbrother John Anderson, 3 nephews, Hunter Robinson, Zachary Robinson, and Avery Overbey, 2 nieces, Shelby Robinson and Harper Overbey, special Aunt Brenda Bunn, Uncle Chris and Aunt Vicki Stone as well numerous cousins and special friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Bill and Doris Stone, Uncle Billy Stone, and Uncle Dan Blevins.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Snyder Memorial Gardens with reception following at the family’s home.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Dr. Blevins & Linda Blevins, and the Blevins family: My sincere condolences to you in this time of difficulty and loss. Many believe it is especially hard for a parent to lose a son or daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you especially as your lives change. May your joyous and happy memories of Brian's life overcome the dark shadows.

I am shocked and so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. He was such a sweet person and always fun to be around. I worked with him at Cariten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I just found out about Brian. I also worked with him at Cariten. I wonderful man.
