Saddened to hear of jimmy's passing. We were roommates at UT. While we kept
In touch very sporadically over the years, he was always there when needed.

As a "detail man" in the early 80's, I called on Jim @ the pharmacy in Erwin. He always greeted me with a smile and took time to say at least a few words no matter how crazy the store was on that particular day. I have never forgotten his friendship and kindness to another pesky drug rep. Please accept my sincere condolences. Jim was a good man. May God carry you through this sad time.

Dear Family of our dearest Friend and Classmate Jimmy Snyder. I remember Jimmy in my class at Boones Creek High School, class of 1957. He was always then and in our later years of staying in contact with him by our Class suppers, and reunions a gentleman, kind and personable. We; his class mates loved him and his wife dearly. He will be missed in this life, but we know he is rejoicing in Heaven with his family, and with his Lord Jesus Christ. Glory to God, no more suffering, no more worries or cares of this earthly life for Jimmy. All Joy and Peace around the throne of God. I pray for the Peace and Comfort promised by our Lord to and for Jimmy's Family and friends. Dorcas 'Street' Hale Boones Creek Tennessee.

Jimmy and Gwen have been very faithful in attending my Wednesday night Bible Study at Broadmore Assisted Living. Because of being medical professionals before our retirements, we also became friends. Jimmy was very special in that he was humble and kind. His love for God and Gwen was evident. I will sorely miss him and our Wednesday night conversations. I grieve for his family and I am so sorry for their loss, however, I rejoice with Jimmy in knowing that he no longer suffers and is in the arms of Jesus. "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8
May the peace of Jesus bring all of you comfort.
