Atina Lynn Fitzgerald - Limestone, TN


Atina Lynn (Lawson) Fitzgeral, 52, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 23, 2019, at her home in Limestone, Tennessee. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on April 24, 1967, in Plainville, New Jersey, to Bob and Anita Franta Lawson.

Mrs. Fitzgerald lived in Gray, Jonesborough, and Limestone for the past 30 years. She was a Baptist by faith, and her passion was quilting.  She was a 1985 graduate of Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi.  She attended Northeast State Technical Community College as well as King College to gain her Associate’s degree.  She was a loving wife, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by a brother, John Lawson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fitzgerald left behind to cherish her memory her husband of 25 years, Teddy Fitzgerald; and a brother Robert G. Lawson, Jr.

The family will be receiving family and friends for a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Snyder's Memorial Gardens, funeral home, located at 5913 Kingsport Highway, Gray, TN 37615. Pastor Randal Johnson will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in Mrs. Fitzgerald’s name.

Thoughts and prayers to Teddy, Mr and Mrs Lawson, and her family. We will always cherish the friendship we had, and we will always remember all the laughter we shared. Miss you my friend, and I know we will think back on many wonderful memories. Love Roy and Christine Vlasuk
