Michael Wayne Naff- Johnson City, Tennessee

 

Michael Wayne Naff, age 57, left to be with our Lord on December 18, 2019, from his Johnson City, Tennessee residence where he was cared for by his family and wonderful friends.  Michael had Pancreatic Cancer.

Michael was born in Johnson City to the late William V. (Bill) Naff and Georgia A. Naff.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn S. (Susie) Smith and Judith E. (Judy) Woody.

For most of his career, he was a self-employed household goods mover having relocated many area families numerous times.

Michael loved his family, his friends, and riding his motorcycle.  Michael attended Fountain of Life Bible Church.  His last ride was to attend Sunday Service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Oliva Naff; his grandchildren, Bentley Naff and Marilyn Naff; and his beloved sister, Janet Woody.

Receiving of friends and family will be held at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens, funeral home, on Friday, December 27, 2019, from 5-6 PM; a memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life will follow beginning at 6 PM, Dr. Vic Young will be officiating the service.

Michael loved Christmas and always contributed to the local toy
and food drives.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can
be made in Michael's name to one of our local charities.

Deepest sympathy, Michael was a great friend and a good man, my favorite patient. Delivered to his home for 18 yrs, May God bless and give you peace at this time of sadness.
