Gray- On January 15th, 2020 the Lord called home a good, simple man Bobby Gene Snodgrass (78) after a brief illness.
Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rita Banks Snodgrass, one son Bobby Gene Snodgrass Jr. (BJ) & companion Tye of Johnson City, Niece Natalie Newton & Stacy Newton, a very special great-nephew James Bo Newton, and a very special great Niece Saylie May Newton of Gray. Other survivors include extended family members and spouses.

A graduate of Happy Valley High School 1960, Bob then enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Wood County and the USS Ashland.  Bob retired from Eastman Chemical Company in 1995 after 30 years of employment.
Bob was an avid train collector and enjoyed sharing his track layout and fine details with others.  Bob worked crossword puzzles on a daily basis, enjoyed television sports, yard work, and his family.

Services will be held in the Chapel at the Washington County Memory Gardens on Friday, January 24, 2020, beginning at 11:00 am.

Rita please accept my condolences. I did not know Bobby was ill. It's been so long since I last saw you but I do think of you often. May God comfort your heart and Bj's during this time of loss. Prayers for you. Love you.

Rita, am so sorry to hear and so shocked!!! Had a good talk with Bobby last summer when I stopped by your house with tomatoes. He seemed is good spirits and was the same ole' Bobby. My mother wanted me to tell you she is so sorry too. She doesn't drive and I am her caregiver, and I can't drive right now either due to a broken ankle. My sincere sympathy at this time..........am thankful for the hope we have of a Heavenly reunion one glorious day!
