Betty Winston Wright

Betty Winston Wright, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at home surrounded by her loving family on January 4, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on March 1, 1944, Betty was known for her radiant smile and kind spirit.

Predeceased by her parents, Bill and Lola Belle Jobe, as well as her siblings Kenneth Jobe and Barbara Clark, Betty's memory will be cherished by her devoted husband, Sam Wright, and her daughter, Ginger Winston (Danny). She was a proud grandmother to Stephanie Bailey and shared a special bond with her sisters Zella Wyrick, Sue Raleigh, Linda Frazier (Bobby), Joyce Lloyd (Bob), and Cathie Smith (Richard), as well as her brother Ronnie Jobe (Ruth).

Betty's joyous presence will be deeply missed by her special friends, numerous beloved nieces, and nephews. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her legacy of love and warmth will continue to shine.

Betty’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Snyder’s Memorial.
