His life revolved around his family and he always took care of and protected all of his family. Bill was also an avid beekeeper. He would harvest honey and give it to family and friends. He loved to hunt and fish and he was a very talented Mechanic and Carpenter. He worked as a Rate Clerk for Mason and Dixon for over 20 years and then worked for AFG for over 14 years. He was a very committed Christian who loved the Lord and volunteered his time and efforts as a bus captain and bus driver for many years at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church where he was a member for over 50 years. Bill also loved to ride motorcycles and he taught his children how to ride and bought them all a motorcycle as well. He also loved to shoot guns and collect guns and he taught all his children how to shoot. He was unwaveringly faithful to his wife and family. He always took care of his wife in every way as she did him. They were soulmates. Bill never saw a stranger and was always using his time and efforts to help others. He always planted a huge garden and when he harvested the vegetables, he would supply family and friends with all they could eat. His love for Christ showed through his actions every day.
