Brandon Umbarger

Brandon Umbarger, 48, passed away on May 6th at the Bristol Regional Hospital. He was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School. He was employed by Strongwell Corporation in Bristol, VA.

Brandon was an animal advocate and worked with the Animal Rescue to find homes for many animals. In addition, he was an active volunteer who helped Winged Deer Park.

Brandon is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Edith Dunn and George & Etta Street, his grandparents, Fred & Betty Gouge, Bill & Ada Umbarger, and Leona Entz, and his father Michael Umbarger.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Freddie Street, step-father, Tim Street, and his soulmate Danielle Ross, special family members, Taylor, Anthony, Trevor, and Winston, who called Brandon, “Papa”.

Brandon also thought of his cousins as his siblings and they are Robert Peters, Michael Peters, Jr., Caylin Anumudu, and Michael John Thomas Plante.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Glenwood Union Baptist Church Cemetery. For more information, please contact Freddie Street at 423-477-3806.
