Brenda Sue (White) Robinette

Brenda Robinette, 81, of Unicoi, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Johnson City, TN. She was born in Unicoi, TN, on May 16, 1944, to the late John Sherman and Anna Marie Brummett White.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her devoted husband, Raymond M. Robinette, with whom she shared many remarkable years of marriage. Their love story was a testament to partnership and devotion. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Hobe White, Homer White, Wanda Ethridge, and Mary Erwin.

Brenda leaves behind her adored daughter, Raquel Lynn Robinette Hulst (Ron); her caring sister, Kay Peterson (Jerry); and her supportive brother, Kenneth White (Ruth). Brenda's legacy will live on through her grandchildren, Christopher Hulst (Beth), Jenna Bouwkamp (Ben), and LeAnne Dodge (Jonah), as well as her three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda's life was characterized by her deep connection to her roots and her unbridled passion for quilting. After 40 years in Michigan, where she and Raymond built their life, they returned to Unicoi, TN, to retire.

A memorial service to honor Brenda will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Erwin Full Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. André Head officiating. Following the memorial service, the family will gather for a meal together, then proceed to Brummett Cemetery for Brenda’s graveside service.
