Carol “CJ” (Blazer) Sexton

Carol “CJ” Sexton, 75, of Gray, passes away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Lifecare Center of Gray. She was the daughter of the late Hack & Mary Blazer.  

CJ was a native of Greeneville, TN where she lived most of her life and was a graduate of Greeneville High School. She loved horses and enjoyed cake decorating and ceramics.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Sexton in 1995, a brother, Bob Blazer, and a sister, Marilee Blazer.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Pierce, her daughter, Leslie Nethery(Kenneth Hodge), a step-daughter, Mindi Paxton (Rica), a step-son, Billy Jo “BJ” Townsend, 2 grandsons, Logan Pierce and Devon Tullock, 3 granddaughters, Sidney Pierce, Shelby Pierce, and Katelynn Hodge, her best friend, Carol Shephard, and 1 great-grandchild on the way.
