Obituary
Conley “Connie” Reed Dove went to his heavenly home on March 16, 2023. He was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on May 20, 1944. Connie grew up in Gray, Tennessee where he lived all his life.
Connie was preceded in death by his father, Russell Dove, his mother, Verna Reedy Jackson and his stepfather, Jim Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Elijah and Lena Barnes Reedy and two brother, Bobby and Mikey Dove.
Connie worked at North Electric in Gray. In retirement, he was a wonderful caregiver for his grandmother, Lena, and his mother, Verna. He devoted his life to them. He was a good Christian man.
Connie was member of Gray United Methodist Church. He always shared his love for Jesus with others.
He leaves behind his daughter, Marilyn Tucker (Steve) of Gray; his brothers, Larry and Tommy Dove of Gray, Mickey Jackson (Vicki) of Unicoi and Kurtis “Skip” Jackson of Gray; 2 granddaughters, Angel Lamar (Clint) of Gray and Shanoka Cowden (Casey) of Gray; 3 great-grandchildren, Heyleigh Tucker, Layla Ownens & Liam Tucker; a special niece and nephew, Dr. Elizabeth Jackson of Johnson City and Shannon Jackson of Elizabethton; an aunt, Barbara Deck of Knoxville and several cousins.
