David W. Clark- Watauga

David W. Clark went Home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2016. He departed this life from Franklin Woods Community Hospital. David was born on April 22, 1978 in Pennington Gap, VA to Lewis ‘Pappy’ and Mable ‘Mammie’ Clark. He lived in the local area for 17 years.

David was of the Baptist Faith. He had an amazing sense of humor, huge heart and a great love for life. David was good to everyone and was loved by all that knew him. Being outdoors was one of the many things that he enjoyed. He also enjoyed gardening and carpentry work. There was nothing that he couldn’t fix. He was a devoted husband and loved his wife and family with all of his heart.

In addition to his parents, Lewis and Mable, those left to cherish his memory are: his wife and soulmate, Deanna Clark; step-daughter, Courtney ‘Punkin’ Harkleroad; step-son, Jamie ‘Hoss’ Harkleroad; brothers, Michael, Sherman and John; grandson, Geremiah; granddaughter, Elana; special friends, ‘Goose’, ‘Blas’ Chavez Jr, ‘Lil Man’ and Scott Hill.

Services for David have already been held. Snyder’s Memorial Gardens cared for David’s family with honor and compassion.
