David Michael Harwood

David Harwood- Jonesborough, Tennessee

David Michael Harwood, age 77, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln and Elouise Harwood, and a brother, Tommy.

He served in the US Navy for four and a half years, ran a grade A dairy for several years, and then raised sheep until his retirement.

He was a very hard worker and he loved keeping busy on the farm.

David was a Mason and a member of the Unaka Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife Judy, whom he was married to for 55 years; his son, Travis, and daughter-in-law, Heather; and his two precious grandchildren, Brooklyn and Hudson. He is also survived by his brother Joe and wife Nell, and several nieces and nephews.

Per David’s request, there will not be a visitation or funeral service. His wishes were to be cremated.  There will be a Celebration of Life at the home at a later date for his family and friends.
