Derek Edward Royston

1993-2020

Derek was born on January 22, 1993, in Elizabethton, Tennessee.  He spent his youth in Johnson City, Tennessee, and he spent his adult life soul-searching in many parts of the region.

Derek left us on June 18, 2020.  We are all saddened, but he has gone on to rock it “like a Boss” with those who went before him, most notably, his mamaw Dorothy.

Those left behind are his mom, Sheila Jeffers; his dad, Rick Falin; brother, Michael, and sister-in-law to be, Victoria; his fur babies Molly, Maui, and Scrinkles; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Many thanks to Dr. Ricky Mohon and his nurse Joyce for the many years of care given to Derek.  Without them, we would have lost Derek much sooner.

There will not be any formal services given the current circumstances.
