Grover S. Hickman, Jr.

Grover S. Hickman, Jr., aged 68, of Gray, TN, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center. Born on August 1, 1957, in Patuxent River, Maryland, Grover was the son of the late Grover S. Hickman, Sr. and Lucille Adams Hickman.  He will be profoundly missed by his family and all who knew him.  

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah Hickman, and four daughters, Dana Aragon, Harriet Comstock (Nick), Meggin Arnett, and Olivia Patton (Greg). His legacy continues through his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild expected soon.

An alumnus of Daniel Boone High School, Grover continued his education at East Tennessee State University, where he achieved a Bachelor's and Master's Degree.  This led to a successful career as a computer software programmer.  

Beyond his professional pursuits, Grover had a particular fondness for hands-on work and took pleasure in remodeling projects at his home.  He also enjoyed driving and meticulously maintaining his Mustang.  

Grover will be interred privately at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
