H. Todd Saylor Obituary

H. Todd Saylor, 67, affectionately known as Todd by his friends and family, passed away after a brief illness on September 14, 2024, at his home in Telford, TN. Born on June 14, 1957, in Johnson City, TN, Todd spent most of his life in Washington County, a place he loved deeply.

Todd was a beacon of love and kindness, recognized for his intelligence and gentle nature. A 1975 graduate of Daniel Boone High School, he went on to work at Eastman Chemical Company, where he formed numerous life-long friendships.

His favorite pastime was to explore the local parks, hiking with his dogs and joining friends on their outings with their canine companions.

Family was the cornerstone of Todd's life. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and cousin. Survived by his loving mother, Dorthy C. Saylor, and predeceased by his father, H.W. "Bud" Saylor, Todd’s familial bonds were a testament to his dedication and love. Risner, and great-nephew Samuel A. Risner, will carry forward his legacy of kindness. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Hiram & Mary Saylor and Ben & Vera Carpenter.
