Helen Angeline McKee
Helen Angeline Bradley McKee, 75, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at her home in Piney Flats, Tennessee, on Wednesday evening, June 17, 2020. Helen was born on December 29, 1944, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to the late Ervin K and Mary C Dickey Bradley.
Helen graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1963. She was a member of New Bethel Presbyterian Church, she served as church historian, a Cub Scout den mother, and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. She was an avid reader and was the owner and operator of The Book Rack in Johnson City, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Edward McKee; and two brothers, Gary and David Bradley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, David McKee, Kelly McKee Arrowood, and Jonathan McKee; three brothers, Kyle, Robert, and James Bradley; two sisters, Gayle Utsman and Janice Sherfey; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor Helen will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a memorial fund to assist with arrangements. Contributions may be made directly to Snyder's Memorial Gardens.
