Jack B. Gray- Rogersville, Tennessee
Jack Britton Gray, of Rogersville, Tennessee, passed away at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Thursday morning, October 28, 2021. Jack was born on May 16, 1946, in Rogersville, Tennessee, to the late Ricard Almond and Blanche Strong Gray.
Jack was a native of Rogersville and had lived in the area for most of his life; a Baptist by faith; served for 22 years in the US Navy and also a welding instructor at Volunteer High School for 20 years; and a member of North Fork Ruritan; but most importantly, a loving husband and father.
Those left to cherish Jack’s memory include his wife, Lynn Helmer Gray; three daughters, Elizabeth Trent, Tracy M. Williams, and Melissa J. Pinnex; two sons, Jay Gray and Christopher Steely; one sister, Joan Biddle; one brother, Richard Elton Gray; as well as ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
