Mr. Jack Whaley, Sr. - Jonesborough, TN

Jack Dempsey Whaley, Sr., 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesborough, TN.

Mr. Whaley was born in Jonesborough, TN, on August 03, 1930, to the late George Milton and Mildred Ray Rash Whaley.  Mr. Whaley was a lifelong resident of the Jonesborough area.  

Mr. Whaley enjoyed hunting, gardening, and going to the flea market.

Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Norris Whaley; a son, Jackie Whaley; two sisters, Edith Whaley and Ruth Hayes; and a brother, Ralph Whaley.

Mr. Whaley is survived by two sons and their wives: James & Kelly Whaley, and Jay & Gail Whaley; as well as, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 01, 2018, at 10:00 am, at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens, cemetery, with Pastor Ken Gaskin officiating.
