Jimi Sells-Sneedville, Tennessee

   James “Jimi” Sells, 45, passed away in Sneedville, Tennessee on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Jimi was born on November 19, 1973, in Johnson City, Tennessee to his mother Alyce Williamson Whaley and his late father Stephen Sells.  Jimi was a native of Boones Creek and lived in the Sneedville area for the past 8 years.

   Jimi was a 1992 graduate of Daniel Boone High School.  Everyone who knew him knew he loved the Dallas Cowboys.

   In addition to his father, Jimi was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Showe; and great-nephew Devin Dugger.

   In addition to his mother, those left to cherish Jimi’s memory are his wife Karen Smith Sells; two daughters Sadie and Jami Sells; a son Elijah Sells; three sisters Amanda Phillips & husband Terry, Brandi  Garrett, and Brittani Whaley & husband Jim Seymour; his brother Brian Showe & wife Heidi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

   A Memorial Service to honor Jimi will be held on October 27^th, 2019 from 4 PM-7 PM at Gray Community Center.
