Juanita (Beam) Rice

Juanita Rice, 87, born Sept. 17, 1936, went to be with the Lord May 25, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her son; Michael Rice, her niece/daughter; Pamela Peel, her father and mother; Rev. Bill and Essie Bennett Beam, her brothers; Henry, Howard, Ray, Gene, John, Walt, Bob, and Jim, her sisters; Pauline and husband Quillen Engle, and Betty.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years; Junior Tj Rice, two granddaughters; Alana (Dylan) Nordby and Aundrea Peel, her grandson; Arron Rice of Butler, PA, as well as two great grandsons; Tucker Nordby and Kaison Knoll. 

The family would like to send a special thanks to Geniva Hospice for the special care given to Mrs. Rice the past 15 months. A special thanks to Michelle, Trish, Joann, Kim, Tammy, and others.

A graveside service will be conducted in the historic section of Mountain Home National Cemetery on Friday, May 31, 2024 with Pastor Kevin Laws of Southside Freewill Baptist Church in Erwin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Juanita’s name to Southside Freewill Baptist Church, 1313 Chestoa Pike, Erwin, TN 37650
