Kathy Shipley Almaroad- Gray

Kathy Shipley Almaroad passed away on January 26, 2016 at her home in Gray. She was born on October 21, 1962 in Johnson City, TN to Beth Pierce and her step-father, Kenny Pierce. Kathy remained in the area her entire life.

Kathy was of the Baptist faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, performing karaoke, and talking to people.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are: Husband, David Almaroad; sisters, Tammy Draper, Trina Saults, Chelsea Cremins; brothers, Eric ‘Ricky’ Saults and Jeff Southerland; special nephews, Tyler Guinn, Hunter Haynes and Josh Saults; special nieces, Kela Hughes and Nakia Shipley; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2-3 pm at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow with Pastor ‘Toonie’ Cash officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Snyder’s Memorial Gardens to help the family during such a difficult time in their lives.
