Larry C Dingus, Kingsport, TN
Larry C Dingus, 75, passed away Wednesday Morning March 27, 2019, at his residence in Kingsport TN. Mr. Larry C Dingus was born June 27, 1943, in Jenkins Kentucky, to the late Burlin and Alberta Cooksey Dingus. He grew up in Wise County Virginia and had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1966.
Mr. Larry C Dingus joined and served with the US Marines for 6 years. He later joined and served with the Army Reserves in Desert Storm. He retired from the Army Reserves after 19 years of service. Mr. Larry C Dingus also retired from Eastman Chemical Company in 1995. Mr. Larry C Dingus was of the Baptist Faith.
Proceeded in Death is his Brothers: Kenneth and Michael Dingus. Son: Scotty Dingus. Sister-in-Law: Chris Dingus.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his Wife Marcia Maples Dingus. Daughter: Angela Dingus and fiancé Rick. Son: Curtis Dingus and Wife Kathy. 3 Sisters: Nora Dotson, Deborah Mahaffey and husband David. Donna Nesnow and husband Rick. 4 Brothers: Jerry and Carolyn Dingus, David and Sharon Dingus, Burlin and Marcell Dingus and Jeff Dingus. 2 Grandchildren: Josh Dingus and Preston Byrd.
The family will receive friends at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens, funeral home, Monday, April 1, 2019, from 5 to 7:00 PM. Interment service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 10:45 AM
