Larry Wayne Sells

Larry Wayne Sells, 76, of Piney Flats, TN went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday morning, March 21, 2023 at his home. Larry was born February 7, 1947 in Sullivan County, TN to the late Wayne and Lucille Sells.

He was a native of Piney Flats where he lived all of his life. Larry retired from Sprint. He was a member of Poplar Ridge Christian Church.

Larry enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He loved watching local high school sports, especially Sullivan East.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lena Mae Sells; 2 daughters, Dawn Smith and Becky Olinger (Jason); a sister, Donna Bowers (Gene); a brother, Jerry Sells (Kathy); 3 grandchildren, Kelseay Smith, Kendall Smith & Gracie Olinger.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Sullivan East High School gymnasium. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Brad Perry officiating.

The graveside committal service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Paul United Methodist Church cemetery on Allison Road. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
