Gray, TN- Larry “Pete” Dean Miller Sr.

Larry “Pete” Miller Sr. - Gray, TN. age 71 passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center hospital.

Mr. Miller was born on March 12, 1946, to the late Elmer Hall and Lottie Ward in Johnson City, TN.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Jean “Cookie” Hodge and Shelby Jean Gorsline.

Mr. Miller worked at Klopman Mills for 28 years.  He also worked at Superior Wheels and later at Dawn of Hope in Johnson City.

Those left to cherish his memory are 3 sons; Larry Dean Miller Jr. and wife Sharon, Rocky Fred Miller and wife Michelle, and Joseph Shaw and wife Melissa. A sister; Rita Kay and husband Darrell Guy.  A brother; Billy Jack Miller and wife Pam, 2 nieces; Tammy Ferguson and fiancé Skeet, great niece; Tasha “Sunshine” Sanders, a great-great niece; Butterfly, and great-great nephew Little Eagle, as well as 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several great nieces and nephews. 

Receiving of family and friends will be at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens in Gray, TN, on March 25, 2017 from 5-6 PM, with a memorial service to follow from 6-7 PM.
