Leslie Litvack, born July 16, 1948, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away on April 29, 2020, at his home in Johnson City. Les was a generous, hardworking, loving Dad and Poppy who valued family above all else. Nothing in life made him happier than seeing his children and grandchildren.
After living a colorful life in NJ, NY, and CA, Les settled in Mosheim, Tennessee to build a family. He worked hard throughout his life to provide for his children. He was a lifelong entrepreneur, and his longest-standing venture was Video Trading Company in Johnson City. After closing his store in 2013, he enjoyed "reopening" at his home every year to sell movies, CDs, and collectibles in the Tree Streets Yard Sale. He was an avid patron and staunch supporter of local business, frequenting and building friendships with the owners of Scratch Pizza, Café One 11, and Shamrock, among others.
Les is survived by five loving children: Samara Bolling, Beth Litvack, Rachel Liebers, Hannah Litvack, and Elijah Litvack; five grandchildren, who he adored: Charlie Litvack, Malaki Liebers, Jasper Liebers, Kaigan Liebers, and Keller Bolling; four siblings: Helen Litvack, Danny Litvack, Faith Litvack, and Merle Litvack; two sons-in-law: Adam Liebers and Adam Bolling; and several special nieces, nephews, and decades-long friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging donations to One Acre Café in his honor. Also, the family will be accepting live plants (low light) to add his backyard garden.
The family will announce a celebration of life at a later date.
