Michael E. Begley- Johnson City
Michael Begley went Home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2016. He departed this life from the Johnson City Medical Center. Michael was born May 22, 1953 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Orbin Begley and Pauline Hubert Akers Begley.
Mr. Begley was a high school graduate and retired from D.T.R TN INC in Midway, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist Faith and loved antique stores, flea markets and collecting DVD’s.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and Billy Begley and sister, Freedia Simpson.
Those left to cherish his memory are: spouse, Deborah Walters; daughters, Crystal Brickell of Huntingtown MD, Kathy Watson of Bryans Road MD and step-daughter, Jennie Walters of Johnson City TN; step-son, Daniel Walters of Lusby MD;sisters, Joyce Tyree of Kingsport TN, Dorothy Foster of Bessemer City NC and Debbie Begley-Brown of Kingsport TN; brothers, Chad Begley and Marty Begley both of Kingsport TN; 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in Carters Cemetery in Fort Blackmore, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
