Michael Leon Gross

Michael Leon Gross passed away January 7, 2016 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born October 20, 1957 in Bristol, Tennessee to the late C.W. ‘Doc’ Gross and Charmie Shaffer Gross. He remained in the area his entire life.

Mr. Gross went to Sullivan East High School and went into carpentry after high school. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, camping and family time.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by sisters, Rowena Taylor, Pauline Carver and Ivanell Chapman; brothers, Cecil and Phillip Gross; and granddaughter, Victoria Lane.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Debbie Crumley; daughters, Tabitha Alexander and Samantha Gross, both of Bluff City and Donna Oaks of Lakeland, Florida; sons, Michael Lane of Canton, Georgia and Mark and Brian Lane, both of Blountville; sisters, Geraldine Dollar, Christina Dollar and Margie Case, all of Bluff City; brothers, Kenneth and Dallas Gross, both of Bluff City; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on the way; many nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Kevin Hollifield and Danny Chapman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Elizabeth Chapel Church, 1041 Elizabeth Chapel Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618, at 1pm. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.snydersmemorialgardens.com Snyder’s Memorial Garden is caring for the Gross family.
