Neena G. Swigert

Neena G. Swigert, a loving, adventurous, and generous soul, passed away on October 19, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center. Born on April 13, 1968 in Johnson City, TN, Neena was a beacon of positivity and warmth in her community.

Neena was a proud graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School and later received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from ETSU. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to become the proud owner of Daydream Bokay Florist in Jonesborough, TN, and the former owner of Boone’s Creek Floral in Boone’s Creek.

Her adventurous spirit was evident in her love for horseback riding and fishing. She was also a creative soul who enjoyed making crafts and cherished spending time with her friends and family. 

Neena was preceded in death by her husband Richard Swigert and Mother Ruth Roark. 

Neena is survived by her family members; One son, Michael Amos, 2 daughters Hannah Amos, Sierra Swigert, Father LD Roark, Aunt Barbara Webb, Nephew Logan Webb, and many special cousins. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who admired her strength, kindness, and generosity.

Neena’s family will receive friends Tuesday, October 24 from 5 to 7pm at Snyder’s Memorial. A memorial service will follow at 7pm.
