Nellie Dean Sells, 93, of Piney Flats, TN. passed away Saturday night October 21, 2017, at NHC. Health Care in Johnson City, TN.

Mrs. Sells was born May 18, 1924, in Johnson City. TN, to the late Roy Lyle Peters & Jennie Cleo Oliver Peters.  Nellie had lived most of her life in Piney Flats TN and was a member of Piney Flats First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Roy Sells, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are 3 daughters Pat Boling & husband Les, Peggy Gossett & husband Charles and Teresa Marshal. Son Rondie Sells & wife Diane. Sister Ruth Wright. Special friend Mary Morrell “M&M”.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Piney Flats First Baptist Church from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 PM with Dr. Alan Davis and Rev. Eddie Smith officiating.

Interment will be held at 11:00 AM. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at NHC and Caris Health Care for their loving care and compassion.
