Phillip Edward Huff

Phillip Edward Huff, 71, passed away on February 23, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1944 in Winthrop, Mass. to the late George and Mary Huff. Phillip has lived in the local area for the past nine years.

After graduating high school, Phillip served in the United States Army and went on to work at General Motors where he retired from after 34 years. He was a very kind, compassionate and loving man that enjoyed camping, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by ‘Freddy’- his special dog and best friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Huff; daughter, Rhonda Eads and husband, Bryon, of Kansas; son, Robert Collins and wife, Tamara, of Missouri; sister, Francis and husband, Jim; grandchildren, James Collins, Jessica Eads, Devin Collins, Dylan Collins, Dustin ‘Toby’ Collins and Jeff Roland; great-grandchildren, Darryn Collins, Damien Collins, Charlie Collins and Drake Roland; and special friend, Jack Gillam.

The family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate the life of Phillip Huff.
