Rita Cheryl Stone Anderson

Kingsport – Rita Cheryl Anderson, 71, died Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Holston Valley Medical Center from pneumonia while courageously battling cancer.

Cheryl was born on May 9, 1946.  She resided in Bristol, TN most of her life and lived the last 25 years in Kingsport, TN.

Cheryl was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father Bill Stone, her mother Doris Stone, her brother Billy Stone, and her son Brian Keith Blevins.

Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Roy Anderson, along with her step-children Heather Bledsoe and husband Chris, and John Anderson.

She also leaves behind her beloved daughter April Robinson and husband Terry, her brother Chris Stone and wife Vicki, sister-in-law Pam Morris, two nephews Andrew Stone and Rocky Stone, one niece Leslie Staggs and husband Tommy as well as their children Hannah, Elijah, and Julia. She also leaves behind a cousin (who is more like a sister) Brenda Bunn, some special friends including Carrie Blevins, and her sweet dog Sam.

Her pride and joy are her grandkids that will be left with the memories of a woman full of life and laughter.  She leaves behind her grandsons, whom she adored, Hunter and Zachary Robinson and her granddaughters, Shelby Robinson, Sera Bledsoe, and Morgan Anderson who she dearly loved.

A private family memorial service (this service is for family only), will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Washington County Memory Gardens with Jim Chatman officiating.
