Robert Wayne Arnett- Johnson City
Robert Arnett, 68, passed away in his home on January 21, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born November 21, 1947 in Washington County, Tennessee to the late William Robert Arnett and Bertha Lee Mitchell Arnett and remained in the area his entire life.
Robert graduated high school and went on to work at Vaughn Furniture Company Empire Division, Bob Henderson Landscaping and the US Army. He attended Faith Miracle Sanctuary Christian Worship Center and enjoyed working on cars, fishing, woodworking and collecting.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Arnett; daughter, Bobbie Sue Boggs; grandson, Christopher ‘Nate’ Arnett; brother, Virgil Arnett; sister, Mary Lee Peters.
Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Christine Lunceford and husband, Ray and Felicia Arnett and fiancé, Clyde Kimery; son, Robert Allen ‘Bubba’ Arnett and fiancé, Morgan Blair Burgess; sisters, Shirley Green, Nellie Smith, Billie Callahan, Emma Hilton and husband, Doug and Barbara Casey; brothers, Larry Arnett and wife, Ada; Tim Arnett and wife, Norma; and Teddy ‘Bo-Bo’ Arnett; mother-in-law, Patricia Walker; grandkids, Ann Lunceford, William Lunceford, William Boggs, Samantha Boggs, Heather Necessary, Alycia Arnett, Melody Bijolle, Michael Bijolle, Jr., Hayden Metcalf and Hadley Arnett; special friends, Patricia A. Walker, Rendall Burgess, Doug Dooley, Neighbor Carl; special dog, Angel; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens on January 25, 2016 from 5-7 pm. The Funeral will immediately follow with Pastor Allen Evans officiating. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on January 26, 2016 at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Pallbearers are Ray Lunceford, William Lunceford, Robert Arnett, Clyde Kimery, Rendall Burgess, and Darren Harris. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Walker, Hayden Metcalf, William Boggs III, Christopher Freeman and Michael Bijolle, Jr.
