Roger Dale Richardson- Johnson City

Roger Richardson, 64, went Home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2016. He departed this life from the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1951 in Weaverville, NC to the late Fred Richardson and Thelma Key Richardson. Roger was a native of South Carolina and lived in the local area for 14 years.

Roger graduated from Barnwell High School in South Carolina and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to laugh and make people smile. He was a kind man that never spoke bad words about anyone. Roger looked for and saw the good in everyone. He loved to read, play guitar, and watch educational programs on television.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Those left to cherish his memory are: step-daughter, Sherry; special cousin, Martin Key; special friends, Kathy Jones and Ann Engle; and many friends and family members in South Carolina.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor the memory of Roger Dale Richardson at a later date. Arrangements will be announced by Snyder’s Memorial Gardens.
