Ronald Kilby Obituary

Ronald E. Kilby, 84, passed away Tuesday morning, January 3, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1938, in Johnson City, TN, to the late Edgar and Blanche Estep Kilby.

He grew up in Johnson City, TN where he spent most of his life and was a graduate of Science Hill High School.

Ronald worked at Tri-Cities Insulation. He was a member of Harrison Christian Church. He was also an avid bowler and a member of many different leagues.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lou Simerly Kilby; a daughter, Angie & spouse Don “Butch” Bishop; a son Scott & spouse Laura Elizabeth Kilby; a brother, Bob & spouse Judy Kilby; 2 grandchildren, Haley Nicole Bishop and Tyler Elizabeth Bishop.
