Sarah ‘Mandy’ Flanagan- Gray

Sarah Flanagan, 50, suddenly passed away at home on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from a heart attack.

She was born February 20, 1965 in Johnson City to Jolene (Tester) Fletcher and the late Earl Tester. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alvin E. Tester; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Irene Gouge; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother; brothers; Tommy Tester and Patty Hardin, Steven and Anna Tester; nephew, Thomas Jacob Tester; niece, Rachel (Tester) Lane, of Mountain City, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends in Kingsport, Johnson City and Connecticut; and her precious cat, “Boo”.

She graduated high school at Sullivan South and received her degree from East Tennessee State University. She was a CT and X-Ray Tech throughout her employment at local hospitals. During her last five + years, she chose to be a traveling tech and enjoyed assignments in Virginia, Maryland and Connecticut.

Per her wishes, she was cremated and no formal service will be held at this time. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Wounded Warriors, 4899 Belfort Rd, Jacksonville, Florida, 32256 or to any animal shelter of your choice.
