Sean “Burger” Pitman- Johnson City
Sean “Burger” Pitman went Home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on October 30, 1968 in Asmara, Ethiopia to Charles and Sandra Pitman. Sean lived in the Tri-Cities for 34 years but grew up in Germany and Belgium.
“Burger” graduated from David Crockett High School in 1988 and was the manager of the David Crockett Football Team. He received an Associate’s Degree in Business at ETSU and was a member of the Tau Beta of Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity. He was a DJ, Bouncer and Manager of numerous businesses in the area and was well-known and respected. “Burger” was a Baptist and a very loving father, son, brother and friend to everyone.
Sean was preceded in death by a cousin, Jan Taylor; and grandparents, Joseph and Rosalie Seigler and Addaline and Bud Shiflett.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his pride and joy, his daughter, Kyleigh Pitman; parents, Charles and Sandra Pitman; sister, Lisa Pitman; brother, Eric Pitman; special nephew, Joseph Pitman; and his two beloved boys, Romeo and Casanova.
The family would like to say “Thank You” to the staff and Doctors of ICU at Johnson City Medical Center for their kindness and loving care.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 15, 2016 at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens from 5-7 pm. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow with Pastor Robert Taylor officiating.
