Sheila Trent-Lett, 61, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, after a period of declining health.
Sheila was born on December 22nd, 1963, to James Carol Trent and Virginia Elizabeth Tribble in Kingsport, TN. Sheila graduated from Volunteer High School in Church Hill, TN, and mostly worked as a geriatric LPN, the perfect career for someone with her kind heart for others. Around the age of 50, she earned her CDL to begin team driving with her husband, Bobby. She also spent several years as IT support for medical staff.
A devoted family woman, her favorite titles in life were: wife to Bobby Lett, mother to Travis Bussell and Kayla (Bussell) Fielder, and mother-in-love to John Fielder. She leaves behind four cherished dogs: Bach, Jadzia, Dax, and grand-dog Leon. Also left to cherish her memory are her church family at Victory Apostolic Church, and several beloved cousins and friends.
Sheila was a member of the praise team at Victory Apostolic Church of Kingsport and frequently sang special solos and duets alongside her daughter. Sheila's hobbies included traveling in the U.S. with her husband, finding a “bodacious” yard sale on the roadside, and her longstanding daily ritual of watching “Gunsmoke” before a nap.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
