Mrs. Stella Louise Maupin- Johnson City, TN

Mrs. Stella Louise Maupin, 63, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, in the Franklin Woods Community Hospital.

Mrs. Maupin was a lifelong resident of Johnson City.  She was the daughter of the late Delmar and Mildred Hoilman Hilton.

Stella was a graduate of David Crockett High School and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Fidelis Sunday School and Tacky Ladies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Killion and Janet Whitaker.

Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Darrell Maupin; one son, Brian Maupin and his wife April; two sisters, Dianna Reece and her husband Tim, and Della Hensley; one sister in law, Barbara Yett and her husband Rick; two grandchildren, Caitlyn Maupin and Jesse Donegan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family of Stella Louise Maupin will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM, Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in the Southside Baptist Church, located at 1928 Wheeler Street, Johnson City, TN  37604.  The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor William Lunceford officiating.  The graveside committal service will be conducted at 10:45 AM Thursday, March 1, 2018, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be selected from family, friends, and active deacons of Southside Baptist Church.  Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10:30 AM on Thursday.
