Terresa Izetta Frost, born on July 1, 1960, in Tarboro, North Carolina, passed away on May 28, 2024. She grew up in Gray, Tennessee, where she was known for her exceptional athletic abilities, earning All-State honors in her youth. Later in life, Terresa pursued a career in landscaping, working in Hilton Head, South Carolina; Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; and Evergreen of Kingsport, Tennessee, where she worked as a grower. She also dedicated many years to coaching children's leagues in the area, sharing her love for sports and mentoring young athletes.
Terry was a lifelong member of Gray Church, a United Methodist congregation.
She is survived by Bessie Frost, David Frost, Kenzie Frost, Teresa Weber, Victoria Autry, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to thank the many healthcare workers who cared for her during her long illness, with a special thank you to Smokey Mountain Hospice.
A memorial service to honor Terry’s life will be announced at a later date online and will be posted to Facebook.
