Thomas Eugene Grindstaff, was born in Erwin, TN. on January 20, 1945. He died on Tuesday, February 1, 2018, at Four Oaks Nursing Home. In addition to his parents (Albert and Florence), Mr. Grindstaff was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha. He had resided in Erwin, Elizabethton, Greenville, and Johnson City, TN, at different times in his life. He retired from Green Valley. He attended Elizabethton High School. He served in the Military Reserves for 20+ years.
He was a member of the Johnson City 7th Day Adventist Church. Thanks to the staff at Four Oaks for the loving care that Thomas received.

A graveside service will be held at the Greenelawn Memorial Gardens in Greeneville, TN. (4195 Asheville Highway) on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Paull Dixon will be Officiating.
