Timothy "Mark" Bowser, 56, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center. Born on December 11, 1967, in Johnson City, TN, to Linda Cox Bowser and the late Bobby Joe Bowser, Sr., Mark lived a life defined by love, friendship, and faith.
A proud native of Gray, TN, Mark was a member of the Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church where he embodied the spirit of service and community. His commitment to others was also evident through his years of dedication as a volunteer at the Gray Volunteer Fire Department.
Mark was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his children, McKinzey "Katie" Bowser and Caleb Bowser; his granddaughter, McKinzey Grace; and his brothers, Gregory Bowser and Bobby Joe Bowser, Jr. Additionally, Mark's legacy will be fondly remembered by his cousin, Steve Fish; his dear friends, Kenneth & Tommy King and Clay Hammonds; and his considerate neighbors, Alden & Wanda Simpson.
Known for his loving nature and friendly demeanor, Mark was a pillar of his community. His faith-filled life was a testament to his character, exemplifying kindness and compassion to all who knew him. Mark's memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Snyder’s Memorial. The funeral service will follow with Pastor John Herdman of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church officiating.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Snyder’s Memorial to help with funeral expenses.
