Tony Albert Akins- Blountville, Tennessee

Tony A. Akins, 52, passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Tony was born on September 3, 1968, in Blountville, TN, to the late Luther Earl and Rose Proffitt Akins.

Tony was a native of Blountville and lived in the area for most of his life.  He was a devoted Christian and a member of Gray Station Baptist Church.  He was a talented cook, he also enjoyed fishing, racing, and football. 

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther Earl Akins and Sidney Carter Akins. 

Those left to cherish Tony’s memory include his wife, Donna R White of Blountville, TN; daughter, Kathryn R Akins of Blountville, TN; son Michael D White of Blountville, TN; and brothers Lee Akins and David Akins. 

The visitation for Tony will be held at Gray Station Baptist Church on February 21, 2021.  A memorial service will follow with Pastors Bradley Broyles and Carl Houser officiating.
