Tony Nelson- Limestone, Tennessee

Tony Wayne Nelson, of Limestone, Tennessee, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee, on Monday afternoon, November 23, 2021.  Tony was born on September 10, 1967, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to the late Paul and Mavis Blalock Nelson. 

Tony was a native of Johnson City and lived in the area for all of his life.  He was a Christian man and was employed at AGCO.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by three brothers: Thomas Nelson, Stanley Nelson, and Leroy Nelson. 

Those left to cherish Tony’s memory include his loving wife of over 28 years, Mary Evelyn “Penny” Nelson; two daughters, Candace Faith Nelson and Jessica Ann Scism, both of Johnson City, Tennessee; three sons, Tommy Lee Nelson, Clyde Daniel Nelson, and Caleb Wayne Nelson, all of Johnson City, Tennessee; one sister, Paula Chapman, of Johnson City, Tennessee; one brother, Jerry Lee Nelson, of Jackson, Tennessee; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews will also miss him deeply.
