Trena Ward Little- Jonesborough, TN

Trena Ward Little, 65, passed away on Monday morning, April 2, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center, in Johnson City, TN. Trena was born on April 9, 1952, in Kingsport, TN, to the late Howard “Pete” Ward and Eula “Lucy” Virginia Caldwell Ward.    

Trena was a beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, and Friend. A native of Boones Creek, Trena’s professional career included working as a medical professional at North Side Hospital, Carter County Memorial and Sycamore Shoals Hospital.  Trena was also a bookkeeper for Automated Building Systems, Inc in Johnson City and Little’s Heating and Air.   Living in Jonesborough for the past 14 years – Trena’s joys in life included loving her pets, traveling, gardening, sewing, and painting. She especially enjoyed laugh-filled holiday celebrations with her children, grandchildren, friends, and family.

In addition to her parents, Trena was preceded in death by her sister Cathy Caperton, and a granddaughter Jessica Lane.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David W. Little; a daughter Whitney “Misty” Snyder; three sons: Anthony Joe Snyder II and wife Cindy, Howard Linville Bradley Snyder and wife Micalela, and David Little Jr. and wife Kelly; two sisters: Robbyn Maylott and husband Michael, and Donna Ward Williams; and 7 grandchildren: Abbi Snyder Pickett, Leighton Snyder, Clayton Justis, Rachel Snyder, Alexia Snyder, Chelsea Little and Dylan Duncan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Trena’s name, to the National Arbor Day Foundation.
